All add-ons currently require PHP 7.4 or greater.

On July 4th 2024 PHP 8.2 will be the new minimum requirement for all add-ons. Expect any add-on released after that date to require 8.2 or greater. Some releases may not immediately take advantage of 8.x specific features in PHP, which means you might, be able to continue using new releases in PHP 7.4, however, if you experience an error the first thing you should do is update to PHP 8.2 then create a support ticket if the error persists.

Please read about the changes to BoldMinded add-on licensing.

Hi Brian,

I’m about to order Publisher for a new project were working on. Multi-languages will be the main reason using Publisher in this project.
A couple of question though on forehand.

- Is the latest Publisher version compatible with the new EE 2.7?
- We’re using ZOO triggers to create category results in combination with Structure, any known issues here? Workarounds?
- Rosie (http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/rosie) is on our list to take care of some of the translations, any thoughts about that?

Like to here from you soon so we can start building.

Its compatible with 2.7, but I have not added Grid specific support yet. Its in progress, but the main hold up is getting Relationship fields inside of Grid supported properly.

No known issues with Zoo Triggers. Publisher also creates {publisher:segment_x} variables too if you’re using translated URLs. These variables are the default/non-translated values of each segment, where {segment_x} will be the translated value.

Rosie is a pretty interesting add-on. Its a simpler approach to multi-lingual, but it appears to do what it was designed to do well. I wouldn’t expect any issues running it along side of Publisher.
