When doing data entry in Publisher sites (i.e. NCCDH) you have to save one language version before switching language and entering translated values.
I am seeing this error, annoyingly, but without a button to press to run the automagical processing to convert to url_title safe text.
This may be part of later versions in EE6+ but I haven’t seen it.
1. Save an entry in one language, i.e. English
2. Switch to new language
3. Edit Title
4. URL Title is not autogenerated.
There may be a reason for this, but having a button to click to enable URL title generation would be very helpful.

There is a refresh button on the right side o the URL Title field when viewing an entry in a non-default language. I think this does what you’re asking for.
