Dec 12, 2020Right now, there’s no visual indicator for user to add bloqs. The only way user know the + sign exists is to hover over a very specific part of the bloq list item.

Yah, this is a pretty common pattern. I see the same behavior when I login to Gitbook as well as the WP Gutenberg editor. When I release the “Add as child” functionality there will be an always visible + button at the bottom of the Bloqs field, but other than that I don’t plan on changing the current button behavior.

To make it a little more clear, here is what the new button at the bottom will look like. I’m going to keep the hover effect in between the blocks b/c I think it makes sense contextually, and doesn’t clutter the UI, but the new button at the bottom should help guide people a little more.
