Aug 14, 2014I installed the Publisher, as soon as installation completed, system went offline. I use msm, I have two websites running on one installation of EE, and both sites went down and saying system is offline. I still could use the control panel though, and I disabled Publisher in its settings, sites are now working. But whenever I enable Publisher, system is going offline. I uploaded the files three times, no success. Can you help me?

Hi, Ahmet. Sorry this happened, but since its the first time I’ve heard of such an issue my gut tells me that its probably a conflict with another add-on or something unique with your site setup. Have you tried disabling other add-ons besides Publisher to see if the issue corrects itself? Better yet, can you try installing Publisher in a new/clean EE installation with no other add-ons to see if it happens again?
It looks like you provided a live site URL in the ticket details… do you have a staging or local development site setup to test this with? If not, that would be my first recommendation. Its very dangerous to do this sort of thing in a live environment.

Thank you for the tip. I had an add-on called Cookie Decline (http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/cookie-decline), when I uninstalled it, now everything is fine. Now I can start learning how to use Publisher 😊 Cheers, Ahmet
