Jul 18, 2014Hi Brian,
Currently i have a couple of feature request for supporting Publisher.
As you probably know is the Entry API a module that create a Rest, SOAP or XMLRPC server. This way you can add entries via a webservice. If you`re interested, i can send you a developer release so you can check it out.
Now my question; How can I add support for Publisher if i create the entries via the native Channel Entries API. I saw that your API docs are related to a fieldtype but not if you add/update entries via the native Channel Entries API.
Please let me know.
Best,
Rein

Rein, I’m working on adding datagrab support right now, which means I need to use the entry API. As far as I can tell thus far I just need to use the entry_submission_end hook since it’s only called in the API. I hope to have this done next week and can send you a new build.

Cool, let me know when you finish it.

Will this support reading the defined languages out of ee via Entry Api? So for each field we could get access to an object containing the defined translations in the same feed?

That is the idea, yes.

Rein, new build sent. I think Publisher is ready to go, you just need to add that hook I mentioned to Entry API to finish it off.
