Ticket: Ignored image field won’t output within relationship field

Jul 09, 2014We are using Publisher 1.4 for a 2 language site.
In settings, we have ignored fields of type file, because these are just image fields which are common to both languages.
We set the image field for the default language version, and leave it empty for the other language.
This is working fine in standard templates using channel entry tags to display images etc - they show up for all languages.
However, we have a native multi relationship field where the image field will not display for the 2nd language - it’s just empty. Other custom fields work, and the image fields do work on the main language version (which is the version where the image field has been set). But we obviously need the images to show up on the 2nd language version.
We tried ignoring the channel referenced in the relationship in Publisher settings but it made no difference, and we would really appreciate some guidance on how we can get the image field working for all languages within relationship tags.
Thanks for your time,
Janine.

Thanks for the report, Janine. I’ll try to replicate this tonight or tomorrow and see if I can identify the issue.

Much appreciated thanks.

I’m unable to replicate this. The image field is ignored, and in my 2nd language the image path is correct. I’m going to email you the latest build I have to make sure we’re on the same page.
