I just wanted to know how you remember the last language I used while editing my entries (eg. edit entry 1 -> switch language to german -> click publish, edit entry 2 -> german is selected by default)
I’m asking because this worked well for a while, but stopped working recently. When I create/edit an entry the language selector is always set to the publisher-default-language.

It just uses a cookie. The lifetime can be changed in the settings page.
