All add-ons currently require PHP 7.4 or greater.

On July 4th 2024 PHP 8.2 will be the new minimum requirement for all add-ons. Expect any add-on released after that date to require 8.2 or greater. Some releases may not immediately take advantage of 8.x specific features in PHP, which means you might, be able to continue using new releases in PHP 7.4, however, if you experience an error the first thing you should do is update to PHP 8.2 then create a support ticket if the error persists.

- In a Wyvern field, select some text you want to turn into a link to an uploaded file.
- Click the folder (file upload) - I am using Assets as my file manager
- Select a file and click “Add Files”
- Text you selected is now “undefined” or, if you haven’t selected text, there is now ‘undefined’ at the carat.

Did you check for JavaScript errors in the console? What version of Assets?

No JS errors, just one log message: “Double-instantiating a select on an element”

Assets is the latest version, 2.3.2

I’m unable to replicate any sort of ‘undefined’ error when adding an image or pdf as a link. Try clearing your cache or using another browser. If that does not work please setup a new EE environment with only Wyvern and Assets installed, no other add-ons, and see if you can re-create the issue then. If its still occurring I’m definitely going to need more details such as a video or step by step detailed screenshots to replicate the issue… what sort of file you are attempting to add, browser version etc etc.

I’m having the exact same issue using EE 2.8.1 / Wyvern 1.6.3 / Assets 2.3.2 & AmazoneS3 buckets.

When I view the files in Assets the all have the correct file paths. When I select the files from Wyvern I can see and select the files. As soon as I select a file Wyvern places the: {filedir_undefined}undefined in the assets path input. (see attached screenshot)

I can replicate this locally, but its going to take a few days to fix it.

Guys, I was actually able to debug this faster than I expected. I just uploaded 1.6.4 to Devot:ee which fixes the issue.
