Ticket: Best practice to add Snippet Sync to existing EE site?

I’ve inherited an EE site with all template and snippets in the DB alone. I want to save my snippets as files so I can bring this into a git workflow.
On my own projects I add SS at the very start - what’s the best practice to add it to a site with a load of snippets already created? (I don’t want to lose the ones already in place)
Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Erwin, the only way to do it is to basically copy/paste the contents of the snippet into files, then when you are done, delete them from the database, turn on Snippet Sync, then it’ll sync them back. If you don’t need to change the names then you probably won’t have to delete the database rows.
