Jan 10, 2014The selected pages template won’t save when adding translations. I’ll save the correct template for English but when I save the Spanish Translation the English reverts to whatever is at the top of the list. It seems like it is saving the template, but not loading correctly upon editing an entry.

Some more info…
The pages template field is hidden, the default template is set correctly and the pages_configuration table is correct.
I was able to get around it by forcing the template ID on line 110 of publisher_entry.php to the correct value since I only have one pages template.

Christian, I’m unable to replicate this behavior. I’ve hidden the template field and it still saved the default template (since the menu wasn’t changed) just fine. I did this saving as a draft and published, in 2 languages, and with new entries and existing entries. If you provide FTP and CP logins I can take a look in your environment.

Thanks for looking into it. Don’t know what was going on the other day, but I just went into to do some more testing with the issue and I can’t get it to break anymore for some reason. I guess if it shows up again I’ll shoot you over the CP info so you can take a look. Thanks!
