Jan 06, 2014I’m trying using Blueprints on a channel doesn’t have URLs.
This is a Channel that normally wouldn’t be structure managed, but since Blueprint’s selection works with Templates, I made that way.
I want to use it to swap fields around, using it more like “Entry Type” http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/entry-type.
In the end, routing to the template doesn’t matter, because they all just route to 404s, but in the templates, I need to know which template has been selected within an entries loop, so I know which type of layout to output.
I could whip together a quick standalone addon to output the template id from a given entry, but it seemed like this might be a nice addition to Blueprints if you’re using it in this way.
