in my project i’m using {field_total_rows} to count the rows in the entry.
unfortunately if i switch language its stoping giving the result for another languages.

Thanks for the report. What I’m seeing is that field_total_rows reports the same as total_rows when in the non-default language. The variables are parsing, just incorrect numbers. Is that what you’re seeing as well?

I use:
{channel url_title=”{segment_2}” limit=”1”}{field_total_rows}{/channel}
Default Language shows correct result: 8 Non Default language shows always: 1
i got the same results with total_rows tag.

You’re using limit=”1”, but its correct for the default language to show 8 rows? I would think it should only show 1 row.

i got for default language = 999999999 for no default language = 88888888

Would it be possible to get FTP access to debug this? If so add it to this ticket. Also if you could point me to a channel > entry that is having issues and a URL in which the field can be seen on the front-end of the site. Also make sure the files are writable for the FTP user provided. Thanks.

If so you can edit the ticket and put a dropbox or some other sharing link into one of the FTP Host field.

Closing this because I have not had similar reports nor have I noticed similar behaviors in my testing. If this is still an issue just reopen or create a new ticket.
