All add-ons currently require PHP 7.4 or greater.

On July 4th 2024 PHP 8.2 will be the new minimum requirement for all add-ons. Expect any add-on released after that date to require 8.2 or greater. Some releases may not immediately take advantage of 8.x specific features in PHP, which means you might, be able to continue using new releases in PHP 7.4, however, if you experience an error the first thing you should do is update to PHP 8.2 then create a support ticket if the error persists.

Publisher does not support the Fluid field type. Please do not contact asking when support will be available.

Ticket: Changing language in entry screen doesn’t do anything

Status Resolved
Add-on / Version Publisher 10.0.12
Severity Blocker
EE Version 2.7.0

Hi

I updated both Publisher and EE to the latest versions. Now, when I want to change the language when editing an entry, the progress bar appears and that’s it. Nothing else happens. (I also have a site with Publisher 1.0.3 and EE 2.6, and everything works fine there.)

Did clear your browser cache and cookies?

#2

Bart Rylant

I did, and I tested it in multiple browsers: Safari and Chrome on OS X; IE8, IE9 and Chrome on Windows

Do you see any errors in your JS console or network tab?

What happens if you disable the Devot:ee accessory?

#6

Bart Rylant

No change

Any ideas already on this one?

Sorry, didn’t have a chance to look at this yesterday. I can’t see anything wrong in the CP … no clear errors. Would you be comfortable adding FTP credentials to the ticket? I can’t replicate this locally in 2 different EE environments.

Something is messing up the URL. I’ve never seen this before, but its adding #/ to the URL

entry_id=54&parent_id=0#/&lang_id=1&publisher_status=draft

Dukt Videos is adding the #/ to the URL, which is very strange. I can’t think of a reason it would need to add that. Can you follow up with the developer and see if they can remove that part on the URL? Its basically hijacking the URL in the CP.

Should be fixed in latest 1.0.13 build. Awaiting confirmation.
