I was implementing a front end toolbar with {exp:publisher:toolbar}, but found it strange that when you’re looking at the site normally (no ?publisher_status present), the “published” link wasn’t active, which made it confusing to use. It of course worked once you clicked published (and displayed the same content), but now had the query string).
