Jun 27, 2013I just noticed that email addresses used within the Wyvern field are not obfuscating, though I have that option set as “yes” in the module. Email addresses entered in the body are not being automatically linked, and therein not being obfuscated. Is there some other setting or option that needs to be enabled for that functionality to take effect? I’m not seeing any error messages, either in the CP or on the front end, nor is Firebug indicating there are any errors/issues with the page. The plaintext email address is simply saved in the Wyvern field. This is the first time I’ve enabled this option so I’m not certain what to look for.

Hi Jean. I’ll have to test this feature again, its been awhile since I’ve looked at it, so I’m hoping it didn’t accidentally get disabled via another code change I might have made.

No rush. As I mentioned, it was my first time even giving that feature a thought - it just so happened that I tried it. Looking forward to hearing what you find out. Do people use that feature much that you’re aware of?

I’m honestly not sure. I’ve only used it a couple times myself.
