All add-ons currently require PHP 7.4 or greater.

On July 4th 2024 PHP 8.2 will be the new minimum requirement for all add-ons. Expect any add-on released after that date to require 8.2 or greater. Some releases may not immediately take advantage of 8.x specific features in PHP, which means you might, be able to continue using new releases in PHP 7.4, however, if you experience an error the first thing you should do is update to PHP 8.2 then create a support ticket if the error persists.

Ok, I just updated Wyvern, but it’s not working anymore now, I’m getting a blank screen (see image attachments).

It’s because of something in the theme directory, because when I replace the new themes with the old version themes it works again.

Any idea why this is happening? How can I fix this?

The old version of Wyvern I was updating is ver. 1.4.1.

I’m trying now to install a new version of ckeditor to see if that’ll solve the problem. Question: at the ckeditor site I can download a basic and a standard version. Will the basic version suffice for Wyvern or do I need the standard version? I prefer to use the basic one because it’s less files and I’m on a very slow internet connection now in the Philippines.

Ok, just tried the new ckeditor, wyvern is still not working. Still wondering about the basic vs standard version though.

Hi Jan Paul. Have you looked at your browser’s console? Most likely if the field is not showing there is a JavaScript error. Please paste the error you see into this ticket. Thanks.

Huh, weird it’s working now, after seeing that error I tried the new ckeditor again and this time it worked, maybe last time I forgot to refresh the page after installing the new ckeditor.

P.S. can you still answer this question for me?: Can I use the ckeditor basic or do I need the ckeditor standard version to be able to make use of all of wyverns functionality?

My guess as to why it wasn’t working initially was because old cache files were being loaded.

I honestly haven’t tried the basic one, just go with the standard one to ensure it works.
