Mar 25, 2024Hi Brian,
I downloaded Speedy 1.9.0 from my account today and upgraded from 1.8.1.
I’m hitting the same error as in ticket #2857. In that ticket, you hinted at a newer build. Is that something that should be reflected in the version I downloaded today, or is that something you sent to Hop Studios separately? If it’s the latter, could I try the newer build to see if that helps?
Thanks so much, Matt

Hi there. I just released 1.9.1 which is the build you’re looking for. I’ll close this ticket b/c it probably fixes your issue, if not, feel free to reopen the ticket. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick response! I’ve downloaded and installed 1.9.1. And it worked. For a bit.
When I installed it, I was able to get into the control panel settings and clear the static cache. Then, after half an hour or so of channel and field wrangling, I went back to clear the cache again and hit the same error. Here’s my stack trace:
Error Caught
Failed opening required ‘/home/mysite/webapps/mysite_dev/html/static/utilities/Csrf/SpeedyDatabase.php’ (include_path=’.:’)
/home/mysite/webapps/mysite_dev/html/static/mysite_site/static/index.php:18
Stack Trace: Please include when reporting this error
- #11 html/mmdcms/index.php(139): require_once(‘…’)
I’ve cleared the EE caches as well. I haven’t yet started any heavy troubleshooting, but if you need me to, we can talk about what might be the best next steps.

Did you delete and regenerate your static cache utility folder?
DSite
sigh I don’t think I did that part. It had been a while since I’d upgraded and I forgot.
I just removed the
/static/utitlties
directory. I still get an error when I try to get to the control panel, but it’s this:Failed opening required ‘/home/mysite/webapps/mysite_dev/html/static/utilities/StaticCacheHelper.php’ (include_path=’.:’)
BoldMinded (Brian)
Is there more to that error? A stack trace?
DSite
Ok. I rolled the site back with a backup and upgraded it the way you intended, and it’s working now. Sorry about that.
Add me to your RTFM dartboard. 😊
BoldMinded (Brian)
Glad its working!
Don’t worry, I don’t have a dart board. 😉
