I just recently upgraded an expired plugin and now that the plugin has been updated, I receive “no records found” message when the API is using the JSON element of Data/Rows. Wen the user navigates to the Addon page and engages DataGrab user creates a new import selecting Dayforce from dropdown, user adds the API with credentials. with the JSON element of Data/Rows, the results is no records found.

error message Configuration Error

No items were found. Please check file type, url/path to the file, and JSON path (Data/Rows) to the entries are correct.

I can’t tell much bc I don’t know how you have the import configured, but that error is almost certainly because it’s not configured right, not bc of a DataGrab bug. Check http vs https, the path to the json, that the file is public etc.

I’ve added more evidence to the ticket to support the correct path and use of the Data/Row element. We had the very same issue last year.

I still need to see screenshots of your import config.

> datagrab_datatypes folder that resides outside of the main directory for Datagrab

We have to treat this as a new ticket b/c other than what I’m seeing in your past tickets, I don’t know what would be in that folder (and I don’t see mentions of such a folder in past tickets). I would recommend deleting it and using DataGrab’s default files.

Please download a copy of the import file, save it locally, so it doesn’t require any logins, and configure DataGrab to use the local file and see if it imports correctly. If it does, then it confirms it’s an issue with accessing the public file, which is not a DataGrab issue.

I’m going to close this out because I’m pretty certain it’s an authentication issue with the feed you’re trying to import.
