All add-ons currently require PHP 7.4 or greater.
On July 4th 2024 PHP 8.2 will be the new minimum requirement for all add-ons. Expect any add-on released after that date to require 8.2 or greater. Some releases may not immediately take advantage of 8.x specific features in PHP, which means you might, be able to continue using new releases in PHP 7.4, however, if you experience an error the first thing you should do is update to PHP 8.2 then create a support ticket if the error persists.
Publisher does not support the Fluid field type. Please do not contact asking when support will be available.

Hi Brian
After the update from EE 6.x I cannot switch the language in the entries. See screenshot.
The switching does not change, but when I open the entry again, I can see the language version I tried to switch to.

This is most likely a JavaScript error. Have you checked your console for any errors?

Can you please share the error? If another add-on is causing the JS error, then it can break all the JS on the page, such as Publisher’s dropdown menus.

Looks like another add-on or somethings throwing the error. Have you tried disabling other add-ons 1 by 1 until Publisher starts working again to determine which add-on it could be? Be sure to backup your database before you start that process.

Can you provide clear steps to replicate? What entry are you viewing when this happens? I just tested the Privacy Policy page in Safari and it works fine.

Have you tried another browser? I’m not seeing anything to indicate this is an actual Publisher bug.

Glad it’s resolved, though I wonder what was cached that caused the problem. I’m closing this ticket for now, feel free to reopen if it happens again.
