All add-ons currently require PHP 7.4 or greater.
On July 4th 2024 PHP 8.2 will be the new minimum requirement for all add-ons. Expect any add-on released after that date to require 8.2 or greater. Some releases may not immediately take advantage of 8.x specific features in PHP, which means you might, be able to continue using new releases in PHP 7.4, however, if you experience an error the first thing you should do is update to PHP 8.2 then create a support ticket if the error persists.

Oct 13, 2023Hello,
I have static cache set in my EE configs, but in the admin it is still saying “unsupported” and the “Static cache is enabled” option is not checked under the details.
What could I be missing?
NOTE: I also added the rules to htaccess, however I commented out this rule: # RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/system [NC] - because our system is above the root. Could this be causing issues?

There is a “speedy_static_enabled” setting that must ben set to yes as well. Bottom of the list here: https://docs.boldminded.com/speedy/docs/configuration

Ah, I totally missed that! Working like a charm now, thank you much!
