All add-ons currently require PHP 7.4 or greater.

On July 4th 2024 PHP 8.2 will be the new minimum requirement for all add-ons. Expect any add-on released after that date to require 8.2 or greater. Some releases may not immediately take advantage of 8.x specific features in PHP, which means you might, be able to continue using new releases in PHP 7.4, however, if you experience an error the first thing you should do is update to PHP 8.2 then create a support ticket if the error persists.

Publisher does not support the Fluid field type. Please do not contact asking when support will be available.

Hi Brian,

since Publisher 3.2.4,  the language code is not automatically added any longer to the URL .

Prior to Publisher 3.2.4 when i had an URL like
https://hexonia.de/technik/details/logistik
Publisher 3.1.5 automatically added the language code to the URL like
https://hexonia.de/de/technik/details/logistik

Publisher 3.2.4 does not do this any more.

Please help.
Axel

What other addons do you have installed? Can you please share a screenshot of your url translations settings page?

I don’t recall making any changes that might affect this, and it’s working fine in my environments, so I need more info from you.

Also how is that url being generated? What is the template code involved? I need a lot more context.

It is the same like in my ticket https://boldminded.com/support/ticket/2001 … so i will give you the same answer as there:

As the site with publisher 3.1.5 worked flawlessly and this error behaviour occurred immediately after i updated publisher from 3.1.5 to 3.2.4 and it instantly works again flawlessly when i replace publisher 3.2.4 with the files of 3.1.5 and i did not change ANYTHING else.

It is kind of frustrating that my site is working flawlessly … then i get notified that there is an update for Publisher … i install it … suddenly parts of Publishers functionality does not work any more (again) … reverting to old version of Publisher … and everything is working flawlessly again.

<pre><code>Also how is that url being generated? /<pre><code>

Just create a template group called “group”. Create a template within that group called “template”. Only write the word “TEST” in that template and this is what you see … please klick this working link: https://natur-hotel-tannerhof.de/de/group/template

Now click on this link without the language code: https://natur-hotel-tannerhof.de/group/template and you see “Safari cannot open this page: Load cannot follow more than 20 redirections” which i do NOT see when i replace the 3.2.4 files with the ones from 3.1.5 … then … as expected … the missing language code is automatically added to the URL again.

Burgi, as I said this does not happen in any of my environments, nor have I had other customers report similar issues, so there must be something unique about your site that is making this bug manifest itself, and that is what I need to figure out. I’m sorry your site didn’t work when upgrading, but I trust you upgraded a dev environment first to test before upgrading production?

Since I can’t replicate this locally, you’ll need to provide FTP and CP access to a development site I can login to. Please edit this ticket and use the provided fields to add the credentials.

The FTP you provided doesn’t seem to be the actual files serving the domain. Can you please clarify what the path to the site files is and make sure I have access them. Thanks.
