Hello I am using publisher lite.

I have any items in structure and option hidden. Now once the published lite is enabled all navigation is showing the hidden fields.

Can you please help?

Thanks
Imthiaz

Hello, Imthiaz. I’d like to help, but you need to provide a lot more information before I can do so.

What have you done to debug the issue so far? Did you try re-saving the entries to see it fixed the issue? What does your structure nav tag look like? Did you take a look at the Structure section in the docs? https://docs.boldminded.com/publisher/third-party-addons

You installed Publisher, and something didn’t work the way you expected, so what did you do next? Did you try re-saving entries to see if saving the entries would fix it or change the behavior?

What does your structure nav tag look like?

Copy and paste your {exp:structure:nav} tag so I can see what parameters it has.

Thanks for providing the CMS login, but I don’t just login to people’s sites and try to debug it and fix it for them. Logging into someone else’s site is only done as a last resort. I need customers to provide detailed steps to replicate the issue, and what steps the customer took to debug the issue themselves so we can work through the issue. Please provide screenshots, or better yet videos of the issue you are describing.

I removed the login you posted in the comment b/c it was public information. If you need to post something that only I can see, please mark the checkbox below the comments field, or better yet, edit the ticket and add the credentials in the provided fields.

Thanks for clearing the public information. I checked the option bellow to keep it private.

I have created a small video to take you through the steps what is happening.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/4aos24wdpe6es0v/01_Structure_Navigation.mp4?dl=0

This the structure code I have used.

{exp:structure:nav start_from="/{page_uri}" current_class="active" include_hidden="no" show_depth="1" css_id="none" status="open" channel:title="pages:{user_language}_page_title"}

This is a multilingual website but we are not using any extra addon to acheive that.

Ok, so one of those entries that shows up in the drop down that should not, have you tried editing the entry, making sure the “Hide In Nav” option is set to Yes, and then re-saving it? If so, does it disappear from the drop down as you expect it to? If so, you may need to repeat that process for each entry to hide them.

Hello

Editing and saving did the trick, now have to edit save all pages.

Will get back if there are any requirements

Thanks

Unfortunately that might be the best/only way to fix this right now. I’ll take another look at the install process… it sounds like it might not be setting the value correctly when Publisher installs.

Publisher 3 will properly handle hidden vs non-hidden Structure nav items when installing.
