Jan 07, 2019I am building a new site. Just installed Bloqs 4.0.16. I choose a Type (Text Input) add the field name and the Short Name and Save. The page reloads and I get an Invalid Block Configuration and the Name and Short Name field are blank.
I tried several different Type’s and reinstalled the plugin and to no avail. I used this on my last site and was very happy. Not Sure what is happening.

Try upgrading EE if that still doesn’t work. You’re already on 4, there isn’t any technical reason you can’t upgrade to 5.

I was unable to replicate locally with EE 5.1.2 and that version of Bloqs I just sent. As mentioned, upgrade EE, and if you’re still having trouble take a look at your console to see if there are any JS errors.

I am not very skilled in using the console.
I can send you a screen shot but I don’t see where I can do that in the thread.

I just replicated it in EE 4. I’ll dig into it more and try to get you a fix in a day or two.
