All add-ons currently require PHP 7.4 or greater.

On July 4th 2024 PHP 8.2 will be the new minimum requirement for all add-ons. Expect any add-on released after that date to require 8.2 or greater. Some releases may not immediately take advantage of 8.x specific features in PHP, which means you might, be able to continue using new releases in PHP 7.4, however, if you experience an error the first thing you should do is update to PHP 8.2 then create a support ticket if the error persists.

Severity
EE Version 3.5.15

Description:
I noticed that after upgrading a client’s dev site to EE 3.5.15 (from EE 3.5.10), some apostrophes are turning into question marks: https://screencast.com/t/ZK06VMfm.

Even if I delete the apostrophe from the title, it still persists. The db encoding is: `CHARSET=utf8 COLLATE=utf8_unicode_ci`. I have my charset in the layout template: ``.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Edit any entries
2.
3.

Are you talking about the title in the header next to Draft? If so Publisher doesn’t modify that. Did you change versions of Publisher during this upgrade? I’m suspicious that Publisher is involved with this.

Also you’re several versions of Publisher behind. You’ll need to upgrade to the latest.

Closing b/c I haven’t been able to replicate or heard of anything similar ever happening, and its been 2 weeks with no response.
