Aug 24, 2017I find myself repeating several key fields in many of my blocks. I think that anybody using this feature in an advanced way would also face this issue.
This add-on needs the ability to clone existing bloqs. I think it would definitely improve the software and increase usability.

Hi, David. Do you mean cloning a block to create a new block definition, or cloning an existing block assigned to an entry?

Sorry I was a bit vague.
I mean cloning a block definition. I have several block definition that share about 10 fields. Each time I add a new block definition I have to recreate the same fields. It’s specially tedious on some fields that are dropdowns and thus i have to also populate those options each time.
