All add-ons currently require PHP 7.4 or greater.
On July 4th 2024 PHP 8.2 will be the new minimum requirement for all add-ons. Expect any add-on released after that date to require 8.2 or greater. Some releases may not immediately take advantage of 8.x specific features in PHP, which means you might, be able to continue using new releases in PHP 7.4, however, if you experience an error the first thing you should do is update to PHP 8.2 then create a support ticket if the error persists.
Publisher does not support the Fluid field type. Please do not contact asking when support will be available.

Description: Diring the installation of Publisher Lite 2, installation step two has to import almost 10000 entries, but after a while an error appears: SQLSTATE[40001]: Serialization failure: 1213 Deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction:
INSERT INTO `exp_publisher_titles` (site… etc.
Nevertheless I tried to make the installation pick up where it left by hitting refresh, and it did, but it imports more entries then there actually are (“15501 of 9507 entries migrated so far.”) and in the end there was another similar Deadlock error.

Restarting the install where it left off will create duplicate rows. It isn’t checking for for existing entries. It’ll be several days before I can get something like that in place.
If you un-install Publisher and re-install, does it do the deadlock thing every time? Can you also please include the entire error message instead of truncating it with “etc” Thanks.
