All add-ons currently require PHP 7.4 or greater.
On July 4th 2024 PHP 8.2 will be the new minimum requirement for all add-ons. Expect any add-on released after that date to require 8.2 or greater. Some releases may not immediately take advantage of 8.x specific features in PHP, which means you might, be able to continue using new releases in PHP 7.4, however, if you experience an error the first thing you should do is update to PHP 8.2 then create a support ticket if the error persists.
Publisher does not support the Fluid field type. Please do not contact asking when support will be available.

When moving my site from localhost to my dev server on Media Temple all pages of the site including the cp stop loading. I then moved the addon.setup.php file out of the add-on folder and the site loaded fine. I didn’t have this issue on my localhost.
I tried a fresh install of EE3 and publisher2 beta on the dev server and encountered the same issue after adding publisher to add-on folder.
Could there be a conflict caused the server’s configuration?

The issue was caused by the php version running on the server. After switching to an updated version of php things are running fine.

Would you mind sharing which version of PHP wasn’t working and which version was? It would help me a lot to be aware of what issue there might be.

It was running php 5.3 and after switching to 5.5 it was all good. Publisher 1 also caused EE2 to go down on php 5.3
