All add-ons currently require PHP 7.4 or greater.

On July 4th 2024 PHP 8.2 will be the new minimum requirement for all add-ons. Expect any add-on released after that date to require 8.2 or greater. Some releases may not immediately take advantage of 8.x specific features in PHP, which means you might, be able to continue using new releases in PHP 7.4, however, if you experience an error the first thing you should do is update to PHP 8.2 then create a support ticket if the error persists.

Publisher does not support the Fluid field type. Please do not contact asking when support will be available.

Description:
I have installed Publisher Lite and all seems to be working ok, except the content diffs. I’ve tried each different diff driver and all behave the same.

The only field it works for is the entry title field e.g. https://www.dropbox.com/s/yhkchbb2oysnonj/Screenshot%202016-06-13%2015.59.21.png?dl=0

But any of the other fields don’t work. The other field types I’m trying to get it working with are WYGWAM and Matrix. For these fields the diff icon doesn’t on the form. e.g. this field has been edited https://www.dropbox.com/s/7xdks09c9iwtysb/Screenshot%202016-06-13%2016.02.34.png?dl=0

I have run the Pixel and Tonic update feature in settings.

Not sure about Wygwam, but for it to work with the Matrix field you have to define a template or snippet in the field’s settings to use to render the diff.

Thanks for the fast response.

Can point me in the direction of some instructions for doing this please?

Go to the edit custom field page, the one where you created the Matrix field. The diff config will be at the bottom. You need to have the Publisher Accessory enabled if it isn’t already.

Chris, it seems you haven’t enabled diffs for those fields. Its working for me locally.

Make sure you enable diffs for the custom fields you want diffs to appear on:
