All add-ons currently require PHP 7.4 or greater.
On July 4th 2024 PHP 8.2 will be the new minimum requirement for all add-ons. Expect any add-on released after that date to require 8.2 or greater. Some releases may not immediately take advantage of 8.x specific features in PHP, which means you might, be able to continue using new releases in PHP 7.4, however, if you experience an error the first thing you should do is update to PHP 8.2 then create a support ticket if the error persists.
Publisher does not support the Fluid field type. Please do not contact asking when support will be available.

May 05, 2016We have Publisher Lite installed on a site for workflow, but due to it not supporting Blocks, the client wants to hide the workflow functionality for now.
So we disabled Publisher in the settings, but this resulted in all grid fields site wide ending up with double content i.e. if a grid field had 2 rows before, it now had 4 rows with the 2 existing rows repeated. This only happened with grid fields, all other fields were OK.
We were able to fix things by enabling Publisher again and then just disabling drafts instead.
For Publisher Lite, are these 2 approaches much the same, or is disabling Publisher more efficient than just disabling drafts & is there a way of avoiding the grid field duplication?

Thanks for the report. Disabling drafts in Publisher Lite is close to disabling it entirely, but not 100% equivalent. If disabling the drafts works for now then great. I’ll try to look into this in the next few days and get it fixed.

Blocks support on the other hand can’t come soon enough, but I realise that’s a lot to ask!
