Description:

Right now when French clients access the site we’re running into an issue. We think it might be because we’re using https for the site OR the fact the English pages are not prefaced with a http://www.lucistrust.org/en/... while the French pages ARE prefaced with http://www.lucistrust.org/fr/...

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue:
1. In settings change “Get language from browser?” to yes
2. Set your browser to French
3. Open http://www.lucistrust.org
4. Try and switch back to English using the flag at the top of the page
5. This then triggers loading the page “normally” and rechecks the browsers language and forces the french page to load

Issue appears to be re-occuring here:

When I’m logged in as an admin, this page always loads in French instead of English, and I can’t switch to English. (I can switch to other languages, though).

I’m still using the latest release, the one you sent.

I don’t have a quick way to switch back, and if I do, I’ll re-break the functionality that that one fixed.. is there some other test I can do?

There are no db updates so you should be able to just swap folders and test. Also, try the latest 1.6.10 release.
