Hi,

I have several problems with my publisher:
1. How do I translate categories?
2. When I try to save some entries in English, it shows this error message: The Entry Date field is required.
3. I have a textarea in Dutch and English with the format Auto
. It shows enters in de Dutch version, but not in the English version.
4. I’m unable to log in in the account that contains all our licenses: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). I tried the lost password functionality, but we didn’t receive a mail. This emailaddress also needs to be changed to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). I want to update my version of publisher, because it also contains the following error message when I click on phrases, but I’m unable to do so right now: Fatal error: Call to a member function where() on a non-object in /home/dun2303/domains/colourindisplay.nl/public_html/system/expressionengine/third_party/publisher/models/publisher_phrase.php on line 828

Thanks in advance!

1) In the main Publisher menu at the top of the CP is a Categories link. From there you can translate them.

2) Sounds like you’ve hidden the Entry Date field in the publish layout? This doesn’t sound like a Publisher issue… it doesn’t do any sort of validation on the date fields.

3) Can you provide more information about this please? Screenshots perhaps? Are you referring to inside the CP or on the front-end of your site?

Hi,

Almost everything is fixed. I updated my Publisher and this fixed a lot. The Entry Date field problem was because there were a lot of Product Modifiers in my entry. This caused problems with the max_input_vars in the php.ini on our server. Apperently my text limiter caused the problem that there publisher/my website didn’t recognize any enters in different languages than my default language.

Anyway: it’s fixed now. Thank you for your help anyway!
