What general configuration window are you referring to? Please provide more info… screenshots etc.

Please respond in the ticket, not directly to the emails.

Is your site not working? I guess I don’t understand the problem of it removing index.php from your URL. Generally people don’t want that in the URL.

When i activate Publisher as a module the the CP and then watching in the General Configuration the index.php is gone and Publisher does not work. When i de-activate Publisher as a module the site is working normal and i can see ‘index.php’ in the general configuration in the CP.

Ok, but does your site not work when you don’t see index.php? Is it important that you do see index.php? Did you check your config file for $config[‘index_page’] and try setting it there?

The site does not work when i don’t see index.php. The reason i don’t see index.php is that i activated publisher. In the config is

$config['index_page'] = 'index.php';

Do you have an .htaccess file to remove index.php from the URL? If you do that then it should work fine. Off hand I don’t think I’m explicitly removing index.php from the URL.

Ok, try this. https://www.dropbox.com/s/djatippla2i3zy3/Screenshot 2015-09-23 09.57.59.png?dl=0

In Publisher_session.php line ~658 move the site_index line inside the conditional above it. See if that changes anything.

The link I posted is valid. Make sure you copy and paste the entire string.

Ah, well - i made the changes and it works now. I can add/see the ‘index.php’ into the field in the General Configurations Field in Control Panel. Am I the only one with this problem and have you any idea why this happens? Thanks for great support!

I think most people use the .htaccess rule to remove index.php so it is never displayed in the URL, which is why this hasn’t been an issue before now.
