I need your help in this case:
If user try to open a draff of an entry (example: page entry), i need it redirect to 404.
I have made setting as attachment image, but when i tried to access draff in frontend by below urls:
http://local.ee/publisher/?publisher_status=draft&publisher_key=invalidkey
or
http://icebergs.local:800/publisher
It still available to show page with blank content although page’s status is “draff” instead of redirect to 404.

Hi BoldMinded,

I have tried to install your new version, but still get blank content page (still have layout) instead of redirect to 404.

Oh, my minor mistake.

In fact, when i set a draff verstion with status is “Published” then it still available to view (without authenticate url), i want it should be redirect to 404.

I mean that a page which doesn’t have a published version, only have draff version, then when user access direct this page on url, it should show 404, but in my side, it still show draff version of page.

Make sure you have a 404 template defined in the global template preferences in EE.

Hung, this ticket is public, you shouldn’t have put the username and password into a public comment. I’ll edit it for you to remove the credentials.

Hung, please provide steps to reproduce the error. What entry are you editing (provide channel and entry id)? Are you editing a draft version? What status are you saving it as? What URL should it be displaying as the draft? What URL is it currently displaying incorrectly?

Hung, there is a bug in which if you are creating a brand new entry and try to view a draft it will go to the 404 page. If you are editing an existing entry and try to view the draft it will work. Its an issue with creating new entries. I’ll try to get this resolved in the next 2-3 weeks.
