Dec 18, 2014Within a channel, I highlight some text and select the link icon the site map should load, it does in Firefox but not in Chrome it just continues to spin. Making it useless to link up to pages within EE.

Sounds most certainly like a JavaScript error. Check your console for error messages.

I think I found the issue but not the resolve, might be htacess but with a WWW the site map loads but not without a WWW it just spins.

Yep, that would do it. Must be requested from the same domain.

Chrome is more sensitive to that than other browsers.
