All add-ons currently require PHP 7.4 or greater.

On July 4th 2024 PHP 8.2 will be the new minimum requirement for all add-ons. Expect any add-on released after that date to require 8.2 or greater. Some releases may not immediately take advantage of 8.x specific features in PHP, which means you might, be able to continue using new releases in PHP 7.4, however, if you experience an error the first thing you should do is update to PHP 8.2 then create a support ticket if the error persists.

The publisher:segment variables should always contain the default language value of the current URL, so if you’re using translated URLs, the native segment_1 will return the translated value, publisher:segment_1 will return the default language value so you can use it in your templates reliably in conditionals and such.

My default language is Dutch, but when I use publisher:segment_N on French pages publisher:segment_N variables work like segment_N variables (returning the French segment/url_title). I checked the settings and everything seems okay..

Can you provide more information? What certain categories does it work for and which ones does it not? What does the full URL look like? Screenshots?

Sounds like this was resolved via email. A stray, previously deleted, category group was causing issues. Will look into this so it doesn’t happen again.
