When the error template first shows an error it is correct, however any subsequent messages always take the preceeding error message (almost as if is was cached), until the error is called again - upon which it refreshes and shows the correct error message.
Our code is as simple as:

I think this was resolved in email, and 2.5 fixes the issue.
