Hi,

I’m seeing some behavior that I wanted to ask about. I’m running CSM 2.4.1 on EE 2.5.2. When I use the recover password feature, it shows the message saying a new temporary password has been sent to my email address. It shows it in my template just the way I want with csm. If I take the new password and try to log into the site from that csm page I get logged in, but I also get an error message in the csm template saying that “the code number you submitted was not found in the database”.

I’m wondering if this is happening because I am trying to log on a page being served from csv with the template and the fact that it already has an act id in the url is causing a problem. Do you know if there are any issues of that sort reported with csm? It may be a general EE issue I’m just trying to sort it out.

Thanks,

Brian

Hi Brian. No I haven’t seen this happen before. If you’re getting that error message its coming from EE, not CSM. If you do it from the same page without reloading it its possible the XID changed which could invalidate the query and maybe EE just isn’t returning an accurate message(?)

Brian, just following up. Did you find the solution to this?

I haven’t had a chance to really pursue it yet, but I saw your reply and it makes sense. I’m going to check in with the EE support forum next to see where that leads. Thanks for your help though!
