Mar 25, 2013Hi All,
I am currently building a multilingual site using your Publisher (0.98.1) Add-on.My client needs an AJAX search functionality in the site, and search results URLs need to be language specific as well.
I just came to to know that Publisher does not work with EE native search(http://boldminded.com/support/ticket/354),So I would like to know what should be my approach in achieving search functionality
My requirement is as follows
1.When a user types some thing and click the search button,I need to show title, description and page URL based on keyword.
2.URL must be language specific .
FYI I have two beta versions one using Navee and another using Structure,so the you can recommend accordingly
Do I need a Publisher build module??
Do I have to use EE query module etc etc??
Waiting for reply
Cheers!

I’ve been working with Low to make Low search 100% compatible with Publisher, I’m hoping he approves some changes this week and releases it soon.

Any other options available for developers who dont wanna go with Low search for some reason??

At this time, no. Solspace would have to add support to Super Search as another option. Making it work with EE’s native search would require a small hack or that they add a hook in a key place.

It sounds like the new version of Low Search will be out soon. I’ve used it on a few sites, its really good.
