Ticket: Link Type set to “Site Page” stuck on loading

When creating a link in Wyvern, if I select “Site Page” as the Link Type, I just get the spinning loading wheel and no options. Should this give me a list of entries from the Pages module? I do have Pages installed and pages created. The same thing happens when I select “Template” as the Link Type actually, though I don’t require that option.

Is there a setting to connect it to the Pages module? “Default Link Type” is set to “Site Pages”.

Sorry, I can’t give access as this is a client site with other live sites running off the MSM. Thanks for any help.

Did you check the Network tab to see the ajax request being made and its response? It’ll show an error most likely.

Do you mean in Google Chrome? It looks like it’s failing to run ?ACT=55, referencing line 175 of jquery.js.

This site is running on the MSM - not sure if that would have an effect?

Mike, sorry for the delay, I lost track of this ticket. Are you still seeing this issue? Can you look at the Console to see what the full error is and paste it here or post a screenshot?

Still experiencing this. Here’s a screenshot: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/154823/temp/Capture.JPG

But it just occurred to me that the system is offline now because we’re still developing it, and I believe that ACT scripts don’t work when the system is offline.

Do you think that’s it?

Yeah, I bet thats it. Can you enable the site for 5 minutes, test it, then disable it again?

This is an unusual setup that involves another server administrator, but he agreed to turn the site on for a minute while I test. But the problem was still there when the site was turned on.

I also noticed some more Wyvern-related errors in Google Chrome’s Network console: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/154823/temp/image.png

Does that help?

Can you edit this ticket and provide CP/FTP info?

Maintenance of this site is not under my control, so I can’t provide login access. If that’s what has to be done, then I’ll just work around it.

Thanks for the help though.

If you’re still having trouble later and can give me access just open a new ticket.
