Hi

I am new to CSM and I can’t seem to get my head around how the Custom Actions work, especially alongside the options above. I am using Cartthrob e-commerce software and there are a few options listed such as:

Add Coupon Entry (on error)

I then set a specific template for this error. However we I submit the form via the website with an error, it takes me to the generic error template set in the options above (Submission error, General error).

I cannot understand what I am doing wrong sorry.

No - with no error it goes to the correct template.

the (On Error) and non-error options are a bit misleading. It totally depends on how the developer defines a parameter in the show_message function. Most people probably default to ‘message’ instead of ‘error’, which is why it works with the non-On Error option.
