Hi

Today I was at a client showing the EE CP.

- When I wanted to show how they can choose a template layout, they couldn’t click any of the layouts. Nothing was clickable. We installed chrome and it worked, but I guess it should also work in IE.

- When they filled in all the fields and changed the layout after filling in all the fields, all BWF buttons (except “save and close”) disappeared after loading the new layout.

Hi

Do you want site access to have a look? By the way: the second issue is priority nr. 1.

Have you tried disabling BWF? You can go to the exp_extensions table and set all the Better_workflow rows to “n” in the enabled column so you don’t lose your settings.

Well, if I disbale the BWF extension there is offcourse no problem with “save and close” and “publish” buttons since they are BWF specific buttons…

Using IE 9 this is what I see in my dev environment, where extensions are globally disabled and all other add-ons are disabled as well. http://cl.ly/image/2Q1m3d1u132j

Those are JS errors with the core EE files, not much I can do with that. Are you seeing similar errors?

Bart Rylant

I have no JS errors at all.

You are right, they only show in IE9.

However, the problem with the buttons disappearing also happens in Chrome, Firefox, … (both mac and pc)

Closing this b/c I’m pretty sure its b/c of the JS errors in EE’s core files. I can’t remember the ticket URL, but it has been filed at EL’s bug tracker.
