Wyvern 1.5
ckeditor 4
my publish layout wyvern fields dont have a toolbar: http://cl.ly/image/321Q102g3Q2S
console: http://cl.ly/image/3C3o3k2Q0d0E
I am trying to downgrade ckeditor now.
Michael Olson
I am having the same issue, however I am using ckeditor 3.6.6. I get no toolbar or textarea showing for my Wyvern fields…
BoldMinded (Brian)
Michael, what, if any, errors are in your JavaScript console. Just saying the toolbar isn’t showing doesn’t give me much to go on.
Michael Olson
There isn’t any method of attaching images, etc. to a reply, so I figured what the original author posted would have been enough to investigate…? I have the same versions as he, except I am using ckeditor 3.6.6
I have two errors, one of which is related to ckeditor:
TypeError: r is undefined http://test.apollosm.com/themes/third_party/ckeditor/ckeditor.js Line 24
The other looks like it has to do with the EE system JS:
SyntaxError: syntax error http://test.apollosm.com/cmsadmin/index.php?S=62ec1c39d7bd4da957c072037804eb89191fa896&D=cp&C=javascript&M=load&file=ext_scripts Line 1
Brian Litzinger
Wyvern 1.5 requires CKEditor 4.0
Michael Olson
Ah, I don’t see anywhere it says it requires it… saw above that the original author was trying to downgrade ckeditor, so I started there. I’ll try ckeditor 4 now and let you know if it resolves the issue
Michael Olson
nope, didn’t change anything. Possibly relevant console errors:
SyntaxError: syntax error http://test.apollosm.com/themes/third_party/ckeditor/plugins/video/plugin.js?t=D08E Line 1
TypeError: o is null http://test.apollosm.com/themes/third_party/ckeditor/ckeditor.js Line 180

Related to this line in Wyvern Assets config? wyvern_config.extra_plugins = “video”;
Michael Olson
Bump? Really need to get this resolved as the site is scheduled to go live and client needs to be able to manage their content… I appreciate the help figuring it out. Seems like I’m not the only one experiencing this.
smartpill design
I’m having the same issue. I went into the /themes/third_party/wyvern/plugins folder and removed the “video” folder. The editor (ckeditor 4.0.1) and entry content loaded in the publish field after that.
Brian Litzinger
Michael and Dirigible, does removing the video folder in the plugins folder resolve it for you too?
Dirigible
Yes, removing the video plugin dir resolves the issue at hand. Looks like Wyvern is getting its plugin location mixed up. 404’ing on http://baseee.dev/themes/third_party/ckeditor/plugins/video/plugin.js
Paper and Pixels
I was really hoping that updating to Wyvern 1.5.1 and CKEditor 4.0.1 was going to end this frustration once and for all, but for me at least it’s done nothing yet. I still get nothing in the publishing screen — no editing box, no toolbar.
The error I get is: Type issue: ‘null’ is not an object (evaluating ‘o.icons’) in /themes/third_party/ckeditor/ckeditor.js (line 180, I think)
Please don’t make me move my clients over to some other editor …
BoldMinded (Brian)
Please email me cp and FTP inform possible so I can take a look.
BoldMinded (Brian)
Paper and Pixels, I’m not able to replicate such an error locally, which is why I’m wondering if you can send login info to support@boldminded.com so I can take a look in your environment.
Dirigible
After testing the upgrade, it’s got the correct path — http://example.com/themes/third_party/wyvern/plugins/video/plugin.js?t=D08E loads fine.
Now getting this error on line 82.
> TypeError: ‘undefined’ is not a function (evaluating ‘editor.addCss’)
BoldMinded (Brian)
Did you clear your browser cache?
Dirigible
Fresh migration to a new host, even.
Dirigible
I’ve got Wyvern Video installed as well, fwiw.
BoldMinded (Brian)
Please email me cp and FTP info if you can.

I have the same issues with the field not showing up and it pushing out an error when viewing the Module settings. Sent an email to support@.
BoldMinded (Brian)
Jon’s issue was resolved. Browser needed its cach cleared.
BoldMinded (Brian)
I see an issue where Wyvern Videos button might not be loaded properly, but I also noticed that CKEditor 4 really fubared the styles on the video dialog… so I’ll try to get that patched up this weekend and released early next week.
BoldMinded (Brian)
This should be fixed in the latest Wyvern and Wyvern Video releases
