Aug 17, 2023So, I have a speedy fragment with tag of “speedy-cc-page-2col”.
The entry lives in “Conditions and Care”
That channel has a clearing rule for the TAG of “speedy-cc-page-2col”
Am I correct that upon saving an entry in “Conditions and Care” - any cached item with tag of “speedy-cc-page-2col” will clear?
I _believe_ this work, but when I look at the timestamp of the cached item it doesn’t change.

Yes that looks like it should clear, but there are any number of variables that might be preventing that. You might have to go into the Service/CacheBreaker.php file, specifically the _breakCache() and _breakEntryCache() functions and do some debugging and logging. There is a clearTags and clearItems method in there too.

Closing this out - if you can provide some info on what you are seeing happen inside those functions I can take a closer look.
