Mar 08, 2023Would it be possible to enable global template vars in Phrases? Especially {path=places} tag. It’s sometimes hard to manage a short section description that needed to be created like {phrases:desc_1} {phrases:desc_2}.

Hi, Gil. Sorry for the lack of response on this. I’m not sure about adding this natively, as doing so would mean that each phrase is re-parsed again with the template parser, which would add overhead. I’d be happy to add an extension hook where you could perform any parsing on phrases though. Feel free to identify where you’d like the hook to be and I’ll add it to the official build.
I’m going to close this ticket out, but if you do take this step feel free to re-open it.
