It appears that cache breaking rules are set to clear caches on updates even in a closed or custom status of draft. Is it possible to add a feature that allows cache breaking to only occur if the entry is in an ‘open’ status? As we are working on a news site, they often will edit news entries in a draft status and view a preview, but if we add a cache breaking rule, anytime they update the article, it will break all the cache for a tagged item. We would like to only clear the cache if the entry is being published or deleted.

I might have a build you can try this week that lets you choose the statuses of which entries to clear.

Great, I will try it out the version you sent me. I am assuming the changes in this build will also be included in the next release?

Thanks, Tommy

Also, just another feature that would also be great is being able to break cache by categories, this would allow us to be really specific in which caches get cleared, making it so there are almost never slow page load speeds. Updating by statuses is a huge improvement though. Thanks again.
