May 02, 2022Want to import EE2 exported channel entries with DataGrab into EE6 channel. What category info is needed in the DataGrab field labeled “Assign categories from this value to the entry?” My CSV has the category names for each channel entry, but with this, I don’t get category information imported.

I don’t see any of the files you’re referring to. You can link to them in a private comment.
All you need is the category title, and it’ll make the category of it doesn’t exist or adding the category if it matched the title of an existing category.

I deleted all entries and made a new import. This time I got the categories in place.
When I imported the first time, I did not include the categories. Then I imported a second time with the categories and it did not update the entries. That is probably why I was confused.
At the moment, everything is okay. Thanks.
