Oct 10, 2021I’m running into a couple issues with Bloqs and Assets in the latest version of EE 6.1.1. Everything is running the latest version.
The first issue I’m seeing is with a Bloq that has multiple file upload fields in a single bloq. When I click the Add File link for the various Asset fields in the Bloq, only the first instance of the Asset modal has the Upload files button. In the other modals the file browser is there, but the button to upload files is missing. Not sure if that is a Bloqs issue or an Assets issue.
The other issue I’m seeing is that if I try to save an entry that has Bloqs added with required Asset fields that aren’t populated I’ll get the error message that says there’s required fields missing (which is expected). But if I go back and populate those fields, I can’t actually save the entry. The Save button is still disabled and just says Error. So I’m stuck being unable to proceed.

As a separate note in my testing randomly a couple times I was getting Bloqs duplicated on an entry. But I haven’t found a way to replicate.

Due to my schedule this week I don’t know when I’ll get a chance to look into this. Thanks for providing the videos… I’ll take a look when I can. Until then try making the assets fields not required.

Thanks! I did notice that the missing Assets upload button happens even if there’s just 1 Asset field per bloq and the are multiple bloqs added with Asset fields.

The button issue is surprising b/c I’m using Bloqs and Assets on a large site in EE 6.0.6 right now and it’s working fine, even with multiple Assets fields in the same bloq.

That’s odd. I tried on a different site build that’s EE 6.0.6 with the same basic setup and it has the same issue. It is using EE 6.0.6, Structure, Publisher Lite, Bloqs and Assets (the same as that first site).

I would check your console, see if there are any JS errors.

No JS errors. But out of curiosity I just tried putting 2 Asset fields in a blank channel (no Bloqs field at all) and the same issue happened. So this looks to not be your issue!
