Steps:
create a channel with a relationship field (I’m testing with multiple relationships disabled)
create entries
in an entry, fill in the relationship field
save as draft
save as published
when viewing draft, click remove draft

This then redirects me to the Entries list, clicking the entry I just edited will take me to the Draft state and there is no View drop down to see the published state. The relationship field is now empty and rather alarmingly, the published, live entry also is not showing the expected relationship content.

I will follow up with a video of the behaviour.

I’m still seeing the same behavior from the video with that: 3.3.1 build 78c16ee4 (in the Publisher CP)

I think this mostly fixes the issue but I’m not sure:

With default view set to draft, this version puts me into a draft view with no option to view the published version. The draft is a copy of the published version, which is correct, but I cannot view the published version until i’ve saved that draft. (after saving a draft, the drop down to view published version is available)

With default view set to open/published, it correctly shows me the published version with an option to save as draft (or should this still give an option to view as draft, minus the “more recent draft” message?)

“this version puts me into a draft view with no option to view the published version” - what is the sequence you’re doing to cause this? I think I know what you’re describing, but I can’t replicate it.

Maybe a video displaying this behavior might help.

I’m going to mark this resolved b/c I haven’t heard a response in a month.
