Oct 28, 2020Hi,
When you first load the search screen, if there is a channel ID it loads those (well currently I think it requires you to toggle the switch off and back on again, bug report coming soon). However the videos seem to load in quite a random order - any chance they can be displayed with the latest channel videos first.
Thanks

Can you provide more information? What user and channel id are you using? What order are they coming back in, and what is incorrect about the order? E.g. what order do you expect? As far as I know it’s just the default order that the Google API returns them in.
I need to be able to replicate the issue just as you see it.

Screenshots help too. Thanks

Hi,
Yes of course, no problem. I’m not using a user, just the channel id (UCohbKRZG2Vmhcg9sJWkSsdw).
It’s hard to say what order they are coming back in - I imagine what YouTube thinks would be the most helpful… but it’s not the order I’d expect (which would be most recently uploaded first) - but it might be just me who wants that, so it might be more helpful as a setting?
Screenshots have been included in the ticket now.
Thanks.

Try adding this order parameter in the mod.reel.php file and see what happens.

I believe these are the options available for that parameter

Yep that sorts it - thank you very much!

Cool. Go ahead and keep that change, I’ll investigate adding a sorting filter to the modal with those other options as well.

I’m going to add a sorting filter in the next release but it’ll only be available if you’re using EE6.
