May 02, 2020Hello,
I just installed Reel and directly after installing the Add-on I got thw following error message. And now I can’t even login to EE as this message is also displayed if I try to access the URL for CP/login:
Warning
Use of undefined constant BASE - assumed ‘BASE’ (this will throw an Error in a future version of PHP)
ee/legacy/core/URI.php, line 333
Severity: E_WARNING
Warning

Severity: E_WARNING

That error is coming from EE core, not Reel. Do you have any other add-ons installed? If so, did you try it with a clean install of EE and just installing Reel? I was not able to replicate this error when installing it locally.

Also you said it crashed your EE… can you access your control panel at all?
BoldMinded (Brian)
Lastly, what version of PHP are you using?
Johan Hedin
No, I can’t even access my Cpanel. Yes, I have several add-ons. I can’t even uninstall any add-ons right now as I can’t acess the Cpanel..
PHP-version: 7.3.6

Ok, I was able to manually uninstall it in phpMyAdmin by setting the Reel_ext classes to “n”. Now I’m able to login to the CP again.

Okay, it looks like I might have solved it. Once I was able to login again I uninstalled Channel Videos, Expresso and Forms. I don’t know which one of the add-ons that caused this but some kind of conflict with one of them. Probably Channel videos?
This kind of conflict has never happened to me before. I’ll keep this ticket open until I have tested that everything actually works now.
